WORLD AIDS DAY IS DECEMBER 1ST - Caring comes in all COLORS! The first recognition of World Aids Day came on December 1, 1988 upon the recommendation of two public information officers who worked at the World Health Organization. Their focus was dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDSpandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection...
"AIDS has taken the lives of more than 25 million people between the years of 1981 and 20071, and an estimated 33.2 million people worldwide live with HIV as of 20072, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history."
Over the past two decades the color red has become synonymous with today’s global effort to help stamp out HIV/AIDS and we at Myron have chosen to participate in this endeavor and have selected a number of products that support our RED campaign.
We acknowledge the need for financial support to make this wish come true and have committed a portion of the profits from the sale of our RED collection to several AIDS organizations in both North America and Europe.
We hope you share our commitment to the recognition of WORLD AIDS DAY and show others how much you care.
