Greeting Cards
Holiday and Insert Card Formats for Business Use
After a busy year of meetings and deadlines, office teams often need greeting cards that help them thank clients and recognize employees with a consistent message. Greeting cards work well for seasonal mailings, end-of-year outreach, and appreciation notes that need to look polished across a full recipient list. Choose holiday greeting card styles when the timing is tied to the calendar, and use insert card sizes when you need room for a printed message or sign-off. Consider the mailing moment, the tone you want to set, and how the logo will be placed.
Choosing the Right Greeting Card Style and Size
Holiday greeting cards can be used for year-end sending, while Thanksgiving cards and Happy New Year greeting card options fit specific moments on the calendar. Holiday logo cards are a practical choice when you want the logo to be part of the design without adding a separate insert. For more control over messaging, insert cards let you standardize notes across departments or locations. When selecting insert cards, match the size to the amount of text you plan to include and how you want the piece to feel in-hand for recipients.

Greeting Card FAQs for Workplace Programs
What are holiday logo cards used for in business mailings?
Holiday logo cards are used to send seasonal greetings where the logo is integrated into the card design. Holiday logo cards help keep messaging consistent across client lists, employee groups, and partner outreach.
How are insert cards different from holiday greeting cards?
Insert cards are chosen when you need more control over the printed message and sign-off space. Holiday greeting cards are typically selected when the design and seasonal theme are the main focus of the card.
When should an office choose Thanksgiving cards instead of holiday cards?
Thanksgiving cards make sense when a note of gratitude is the primary message and you want to send earlier in the season. Holiday cards are better suited when the greeting is tied to year-end or winter celebrations.
What insert card size should I use for a longer message?
Insert cards 5" x 7" are a practical pick when you need more space for a longer message. Insert cards 3.5" x 2" work better for short notes or brief acknowledgments.
How do I choose between Happy New Year greeting card styles and Christmas cards?
Happy New Year greeting card styles are a safer fit when you want a seasonal message without referencing a specific holiday. Christmas cards are appropriate when the recipient group expects a Christmas greeting.
Where do greeting cards fit in employee recognition programs?
Greeting cards fit in employee recognition programs as a written note paired with a milestone or seasonal thank-you. Greeting cards are also useful for onboarding or team updates when you want a consistent message across a department.
